Hope is Education

In our ongoing mission to foster hope through education among underprivileged youth in rural Nepal, Goreto Treks has steadfastly supported various community schools throughout the country. We believe that education is not just a right but a pathway to a brighter future, and our efforts reflect this conviction. Our support takes various forms, all aimed at improving the educational experience and opportunities for these young learners. From conducting health screening programs to distributing essential school materials such as uniforms, bags, and stationery, we strive to address the multifaceted needs of students. In collaboration with WWGPN (World Wide Goat Project Nepal) and the Dikshya Foundation, we've also initiated the installation of filtration systems in several rural schools. These filters ensure that students have access to clean and safe drinking water, promoting their health and well-being. Looking ahead, we plan to extend this support to the broader community, recognizing the critical importance of clean water for overall community health. Beyond these initiatives, we're proud to engage both national university students and international volunteers in providing afterschool activities. These activities not only supplement the formal education curriculum but also instill hope and enthusiasm in students for a promising future.
