Every part of the region is like a painting that will leave you amazed and breathless. Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. During the trek you will come face to face with the Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I to VI), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 M), Mt Manasulu. Mt Macchapuchre (Fish Tail) and much more. Annapurna Circuit trek also give you the chance to experience the unique culture of the Gurung, Magar and Sherpa ethnicity. Our journey starts at Besisahar, a vibrant city in Lamjung. The route passes along paddy fields into dense forests, several cliffs, and clear waterfalls. The trail crosses several rivers over steel or wooden suspension bridges. Our journey then leads to Thorung La pass (5416M), touching the edge of Tibetan plateau. It is the highest altitude of our journey. The temple of Muktinath that holds great value for both Hindu and Buddhist culture is another point of interest in our trek. We then trek to Poonhill, a famous viewpoint where we will observe the sunrise over the beautiful Himalayas.

Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon our arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), we will be warmly welcomed by the representatives of Goreto Treks. If our arrival is early, we'll have the opportunity to indulge in Nepalese traditional cuisine while enjoying cultural dances that showcase the rich heritage of Nepal.

Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani via Besisahar (8-9 hours)
After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we will begin our journey towards Besi Shahar. The drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar typically takes five to six hours. Along the way, we will stop for lunch. And then we will continue our ride upto Dharapani. Upon reaching Dharapani, we'll have some free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Trek starts from Dharapani to Chame 16 Km (5-6 hours)
Today's journey takes us from Dharapani to Chame. En route, we'll traverse through villages predominantly inhabited by the Gurung and Magar communities, offering insights into their unique way of life. Along the way, we'll be treated to the sight of striking waterfalls cascading down the rugged terrain, adding to the scenic beauty of the landscape. Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to admire the majestic Lamjung Himal, further enhancing our journey through the picturesque countryside.

Trek from Chame to Pisang 14 Km (4-5 hours)
Today, we embark on our Annapurna Circuit Trek from Chame. Passing through lush forests and apple orchards, we'll stop for lunch at Dhukur Pokhari. As we continue to Pisang, expect stunning views of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Pisang Peak. In Pisang, divided into Upper and Lower parts by the Marsyangdi river, we'll explore both for the best mountain vistas and local charm. Our accommodations tonight will be in a chosen trekking lodge or teahouse.

Trek from Pisang to Manang (5-6 hours)
Our second day on the Annapurna Circuit Trek involves a scenic hike through pine-covered valleys to the village of Braga, famous for its ancient monastery. Continuing our ascent, we cross suspension bridges over the Marsyangdi river en route to Manang, where we'll spend two nights for acclimatization. Don't miss exploring the local bakeries while admiring the towering Annapurna and Gangapurna peaks.

Acclimatization in Manang
Staying another day in Manang allows us to acclimate to the high altitude. The town offers plenty to explore, from scenic viewpoints and ancient monasteries to a cultural museum. If you're feeling adventurous, there are day hikes to stunning glacial lakes with views of Gangapurna and Tilicho Peak. After a satisfying meal at our lodge, we'll rest up for the next leg of our Annapurna Circuit Trek tomorrow.

Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4 hours)
Today's hike features a challenging ascent past Tengi village, followed by lunch in Gunsang with views of Annapurna II and Annapurna IV. Continuing through juniper stands, we reach Yak Kharka, where we'll spend the night after gradually ascending to avoid altitude sickness.

Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4-5 hours)
We start the day with a gentle climb through alpine pastures, encountering Himalayan griffons. Crossing a suspension bridge or a smaller wooden one, we reach Thorong Phedi, where we'll rest in preparation for tomorrow's ascent over Thorong La pass.

Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La (7-8 hours)
Today, we conquer Thorong La, the high-altitude pass at 5,416 meters, guided by our experienced trek leader. After enjoying the spectacular views, we descend into the majestic Kali Gandaki Gorge before reaching Muktinath, a sacred site with temples and shrines. Tonight, we rest in Muktinath's teahouses after a challenging day on the trail.

Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom, drive bacck to Tatopani (7-8 hrs)
Today's hike is long but less challenging than yesterday. We'll descend through the Jhong Valley, known for ancient Buddhism and historic stone cairns, before stopping for lunch in Kagbeni. After three hours of hiking from Kagbeni, we'll reach Jomsom and take a local jeep/bus to Tatopani (Hot spring). Surprisingly nestled in the snowy Himalayas, Tatopani boasts natural hot springs, a unique feature of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. After a scenic bus ride of five to six hours, we'll check-in at our teahouse and enjoy the hot springs before returning for a meal and rest.

Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara (5 hours)
We will wake up to birdsong in the early morning, knowing our Annapurna Circuit Trek is coming to an end. We'll head back to Pokhara, a five to six-hour drive away, known for its adventure and stunning views of Phewa Lake and the Annapurnas. After arriving, you'll have time to explore, whether it's adrenaline-pumping activities or simply relaxing. Enjoy Pokhara before returning to our hotel for the night.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (6-7 hrs)
After breakfast, we'll travel back to Kathmandu by tourist bus along the scenic Prithvi highway. You'll enjoy views of Nepal's countryside and have the chance to share your trekking stories. Alternatively, we can arrange a flight. Tonight, we'll gather for a farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
