Join us for profound 7-day journey through Nepal’s most sacred Buddhist sites on the Buddhist Shrines Circuit Tour. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where you can spend your free time exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel. The tour begins in earnest on the second day with visits to Kapan Monastery, the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, and various monasteries around Pharping, including sites where the famous incarnation of Buddha, Padmasambhava, meditated. This day offers you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the serene and healing environments of these spiritual centers. On the third day, the adventure continues with a visit to Patan Durbar Square, a pivotal site for the flourishing of Buddhist culture in the Kathmandu Valley. You will then travel to Namobuddha, where you will join the chanting sessions with the resident Lamas and spend a night in the tranquil surroundings of the monastery. Here, you will have the chance to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and its surroundings, including the Mayadevi Temple and Tilaurakot.
