Arrival in Kathmandu
Your adventure begins the moment you land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. A representative from Goreto Treks will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the bustling district of Thamel. After settling in and taking some rest, you'll meet your trek crew. Spend the remaining day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, soaking in the local atmosphere, and preparing for your trek.

Kathmandu to Lukla Flight (2,840m), Trek to Phakding (2,610m) - 3.5 hours
The day starts with an exhilarating 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, the trek begins with a descent towards the Dudh Koshi River, continuing to the village of Phakding. The trek is relatively easy, allowing you to acclimate to the altitude and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 6 hours
Today, you'll trek to Namche Bazaar, known as the Gateway to Everest. The trail includes crossing the Dudh Koshi River via suspension bridges adorned with fluttering prayer flags. En route, you'll enter Sagarmatha National Park, where you'll learn about its role in preserving the region's environment and culture. The ascent to Namche is challenging but rewarding, offering glimpses of Himalayan peaks and vibrant local culture.

Namche to Khumjung (3750m) - 4 hours
After breakfast, you'll trek to the picturesque village of Khumjung enroute we will stop by Everest Hotel, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of Everest, Lhotse, Amadoblam, Tabuche, Kangtega, Thamserku and more on the list in a single frame. This moderate trek offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and gives you a closer look at the lifestyle of the Sherpa community. Visit the Khumjung Monastery, home to a purported yeti scalp, and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the village.

Khumjung to Tengboche (3900m) - 5 hours
Your journey continues towards Tengboche, famous for its iconic monastery. The trail offers spectacular mountain views and follows the Dudh Koshi River. Upon reaching Tengboche, you'll explore the monastery, marveling at its grand Buddha statue and intricate decorations. The spiritual ambiance and panoramic views of Everest and other peaks make this a memorable day.

Tengboche to Monjo (2800m) - 6 hours
From Tengboche, you'll descend towards the village of Monjo. The trail takes you through lush forests and past picturesque landscapes. As you descend to lower altitudes, the air becomes richer in oxygen, making the trek more comfortable. Monjo offers a peaceful retreat after a day of trekking.

Monjo to Lukla (2840m)- 4 hours
Today's trek takes you back to Lukla. The descent is easier and faster, allowing you to cover more distance. Upon reaching Lukla, you'll have the evening free to celebrate your successful trek with your fellow travelers. Enjoy traditional drinks and dancing with the locals, creating unforgettable memories.

Fly back to Kathmandu
In the morning, you'll take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu, enjoying aerial views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, a Goreto Treks representative will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, you'll be treated to a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, complete with cultural performances. This is the perfect way to end your trekking adventure, reflecting on your journey and celebrating with new friends.
