Explore the Untamed Beauty and Biodiversity of Langtang National Park
The Langtang Valley Trek begins in the deep, dramatic gorges carved by the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola rivers, where dense forests of rhododendron, oak, maple, and alder line the trail up to Kyanjin Gompa. Particularly around Ghode Tabela and the lower valleys near Gosaikunda Lakes, these forests are home to an impressive array of wildlife. Trekking here offers a rare chance to encounter the elusive red panda, a symbol of the Himalayan ecosystem’s health and biodiversity. Other wildlife includes yellow-throated martens, wild boars, Himalayan black bears, ghorels (mountain goats), grey langurs, and even leopards. Bird enthusiasts may spot the Himalayan honeyguide, impeyan pheasant (Nepal’s national bird), Tragopan, and kalij pheasants. Additionally, the rare deciduous conifer larch is found in the forests of lower Langtang, adding further ecological uniqueness to the region.

Tour Plan / Itinerary
1
Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Arrival in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, We will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel. You can enjoy your time for the preperation of the treks, if the arrival is during the day time then, we will arrange a preperation meeting of the trip where you will be introduced to your crew members.

Drive to Trishuli - Dhunche (1965 m) - Shyabrubensi (2130 m) 7-8 hours
After breakfast we will start our bus ride to Shyabrubensi. On the way, we will stop by lunch in Trishuli. After continuing the ride for almost 7-8 hours, we will arrive at our destination for the day Shyabrubensi. Overnight at Shyabrubensi.

Trek to lama Hotel (2470m) from Shyabrubensi 6-7 hours
The march begins in the middle of the rice fields. The terraces, very regular, stack up on the side, silent. A suspended bridge crosses the Langtang Khola. On the strand opposite, pleasant progression in the middle of a dense forest of pines, oaks and bamboos.
Be attentive, the herds of Langur monkeys live in the forest in number, as well as several multicolored bird varieties. Other discreet hosts hide to our attentive eyes: boars, red panda and same bear of the Himalayas.
Overnight at lodge.

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3450m) 6-7 hours
The day opens up by a rough rise, under the numerous cascade draperies. A gradual coming down drives to Lama Hotel. Vegetation changes: maples, oaks, rhododendrons to astonishing vernal flowering surround us. Heralds annonciateurs of the high mountain, the sparkling flanks of the Langtang Lirung discover themselves little by little.
Walls of mani engraved of the mantra ” Om Mani Padme Um “, protective triptyches of the village, flags to prayers floating to wind, chörtens, mark the entry in Buddhist earth. The altitude increases, the sparse forest yields the place to the bushes. Night in lodge.

Langtang - Kyanjin Gompa (3900m) 4 hours
Grazings spread beyond the village. The pyramid perfected of the Dorje Lakpa closes the valley. We always win the altitude, but regularly: the march proves to be easier than eve. The surge of stone of a former moraine constitutes a promontory from where we discover the monastery of Kyanjin himself remover on the flanks frozen of the Langtang Lirung.
Again one hour of walk to reach this place isolated, ultimate habitat of the valley. After the picnic, most courageous can climb the slopes of the Kyanjin Ri (4 773 m). TO less to prefer the visit of the local dairy, witness of help brought by Switzerland in 1960.

Rest Day and Kyanjin Ri Exploration (4771m) 5 hours
Complete day dedicated to discover the high valley of the Langtang. The Kyanjin Ri, from where one discovers a large circular view, impose himself like belvédère: Langtang Lirung (7 246 m), Naya Kanga (5 846 m), Dorje Lakpa (6 966 m), Langshisa Ri (6 427 m) and far away the summit of the Shishapangma (8 013 m).
The round-trip constitutes a beautiful day of efforts, but the land doesn’t include any other difficulties that the altitude. A less sporty alternative consists in carrying up the valley to reach the high pastures of festive of Langshisha Karka.

Kyanjin Gompa – Ghoda Tabela 6 hours
After an early breakfast, we will begin our leisurely descent from Kyanjin Gompa towards Ghoda Tabela. The trek usually takes about six hours to complete. Along the way, we will stop to enjoy lunch at Langtang Village.

Ghoda Tabela to Shyabrubesi 6 hours
Continuing our descent, we will trek from Ghoda Tabela to Shyabrubesi, a journey of approximately six hours. Shortly after setting out, we will veer towards the upper village of Shyabru. The path ascends along a scenic ridge, leading us to a cluster of about 80 closely-knit homes perched on a forested spur. The oldest houses, with their intricately carved windows and beams, showcase the exquisite craftsmanship of the Tamang woodworkers. We will spend the night in a lodge.

Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we drive over to Kathmandu. Arriving Kathmandu, we transfer you to your hotel. Spend the day at your own leisure, enjoying your much-deserved rest, reveling in some last moment shopping or investigating any sights you might have missed on your first day in Kathmandu.
