Paragliding in Pokhara is a life time opportunity to let you fly like the bird in the sky. While you are having free time in Pokhara after your trekking, then Paragliding can be another adventurous activity for you. Also for those, visiting Pokhara under their city tour program can also be benefited by joining the Paragliding.
Normally flight will be for 30 minutes during three shift of the day, i.e. 10:30 AM, 12 Noon and 2 PM in the afternoon. But 11:30 AM is considered to be the best time to fly so that your money worth fully. Flight will take off from Sarangkot which is 1600 meter above from the sea level. One has to drive by car for almost 25 minutes from Lakeside to reach Sarangkot.

The mountains covered in white snow stand against the green hills. View of some of the highest mountain ranges- Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre will make your flight more awesome. Threads of silver lakes and rivers make their way through hills, valleys and green forests.All of this is the sight available from the height of the flight. From your view point, you will see every humongous building reduced to a negligible size. The settlements shrinks into something that looks like scribbling on green paper. Nothing is big anymore and yet the world appears to be bigger than it ever was.<o:p></o:p>
Best time for Paragliding <o:p></o:p>
Paragliding is very sensitive to season and weather conditions. The clearer the sky, the better is the experience. Throughout the year, the sky in Nepal is pretty much clear. Hence, paragliding in Pokhara takes place every day if weather permits. The best seasons are autumn between September and October and spring between March to June. If you are attempting it during November and December, make sure it is not a gloomy day.<o:p></o:p>
